T-Mobile 2G Turndown in parts of ME and NH

Why is this happening?

In some geographic areas, T-Mobile delivers 2G connectivity via roaming with a local regional carrier. T-Mobile 2G coverage in parts of Maine and New Hampshire is delivered via a roaming partner, and this partner has announced a turn down of all 2G services by July 1, 2018.

T-Mobile does not receive detailed implementation plans from their roaming partners, so please keep in mind that the turndown will be an ongoing process and some areas will feel effects earlier than others will.
